Nuts mag did a sex survey for its male reasons, one question was 'have you ever...slept with another man'. I was shocked that it would ask such a leading homoerotic question, but when the results were published 4 weeks later, they question had been removed. maybe the % was too high!

Clive Owen, as much as I hate to admit it does have an immanently slappable puss. What that means I don't know but it has a viscerable truth, which is better than an eternal veritie by a log run.

Looking at those Men's Heath covers, the models all look like cheerful leanish bottoms. Of course it would't do if they had pussy's in straight films. Or would it. That might be a good transitional device, to ween them off boobs. The inbetween can be a very sneaky area. Not necessarily comic, but it might be a relief from the old ho hum?

Gay male bi-curiousness requires gay men to recognise sexual difference and not run away from it screaming. Straight male bi-curiousness doesn't require anything but an erection. And straight male porn has rather a lot of those in it. When was the last time you saw a pussy in a gay porn film that wasn't directed by Bruce La Bruce?

Oh time for another of my theories, which is that it's easier for straight men to stray into bisexuality if only in their heads than it is for gays, principally I think because of the neurotic tendency of everyone to be drawn to what is forbidden and to be put off/made anxious by what's expected of one, in this case an erection. It's interesting to notice the reactions of straight guys to big muscle. For one thing, they respect it, beyond that there is something in their eyes that betrays their inward comparing of themselves to a big muscleman, a bit of humility. Still beyond that though, I think there is just a hint of troubling erotic response to be detected, sometimes. No matter how beautiful a woman might be, a gay guy will never have that drop of the jaw, that look of awe that a straight man will looking over a big male physique. There's no element of the woman having built it herself, nothing to feel outclassed by, and there's just the opposite of something to be turned on by. Consequently there's never that need to ... deal with any awkward moment by asking how she got those big funbags.

On a level of simple logistics, don't all the men you screw have more or less the same body parts every single time? Can you imagine being happier if they had more legs or extra tits? No, the trick is just to have different models to worship each and every time, for maximum stimulation. Don't underestimate the underids of your standard "heterosexual " audience. "Sex sells" seems to apply in more ways than it's conscious.
Also, capitalism thrives on peoples' simple minded addictiveness to similar movies, American movies (the same tedious plots all the time )ads, clothing.(men's skirts just don't seem to sell ).

I know that when I get a foreign film I will have to think, because you have to be conscious to watch. They know that with American Television, peoples metaboism drops14% lower than when they're asleep.

I think though that Men's Heath transcends Best Sellers even, since they always develope that sticky , smelly patina demonstarting that they've jumped that subversive unconscious line that distinquishes the merely repeatative from the ,in some way at least, inspired.

They seem to be obsessed with following us around ! At least mine has been hitch hiking and causing trouble for ages , it seems. So the relationship is mutual. Kind of neurotic, and irritating in fact! If I could get a new one it might be better, something less pushy and tyranical, at least relative to the positive aspects.

Men never tire of obsessing over body parts. I certainly don't.

I used to have a gig reading books and magazines onto tape for this man who was dyslexic or something. He listened to the tapes while driving. I read issue after issue after issue of men's health. And how true it is that repetition is that rag's bread and butter. But then, any muscle and fitness publication is exactly the same. Evidently there's no limit to how many months in a row enthusiasts can read about building a six pac, pecs, legs, etc...at least the writers had a wee sense of humor. It sure beat reading Forbes, at least.

I've always thought that the characters Frasier and Niles Crane, who foppishly strolled onto US screens in 1993, heralded the arrival of metrosexuality. But perhaps that's just me, it very often is.
